About me

I'm a passionate storyteller from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, currently based in New York City. I've recently graduated from Penn State University, earning three degrees over five years: my Bachelor's Degrees in English and Telecommunications & Media Industries and my Master's Degree in English. I'm a writer, producer, editor, videographer, and organizer.

Fall 2021

Bowstring Studios

Production Assistant

I was responsible for setting up film equipment, assisting with lighting, setting up shots and sets. Final project will launch as a rebranding of Penn State's Smeal College of Business.

2020 - 2021

Pennsylvania State University

Graduate teaching assistant / adjunct professor

I instructed several semester-long courses on writing and rhetoric to Penn State students. I conducted weekly lectures to groups of students as a faculty member of the Department of English. I was also responsible for editing and grading hundreds of papers.

Spring 2021

46Live – Penn State THON

Production Assistant

I conducted interviews, filmed & edited packages, helped to run the live event of THON 2021, which was entirely streamed. I was technical director during several of the live musical performances.

Midtown Cinema – Harrisburg, PA

Production Team / clerk

In addition to regular theater duties, I was responsible for shooting & editing videos, designing graphics for promotional materials to be shown online or in theaters.

Phroth – Penn State Humor Publication

Editor-in-chief

Former Staff Writer, Head Writer and Lead Designer. Organized writing meetings, edited articles/images, directed all content. Oversaw distribution of about 25,000 newspapers/magazines each year.

Penn State Comedy Organizations

President & Festival chair

Former Videographer, Writer and Performer. Ran meetings, filmed and edited videos of performers, two-time organizer for annual $20,000 “RAWR” Improv Festival. The duties for this event involved researching comedians from across the country, securing funding, travel and venue, and making sure the event ran smoothly. I also organized weekly shows, promotion, and all club events for "Full Ammo Improv" and "Second Floor Stand-Up" organizations.

2018 - 2019

Centre County Report – State College, PA

Executive producer

Oversaw weekly live news broadcasts, operated cameras in studio and in the field, guided all technical positions, edited shows for the web. I also instructed broadcasting and journalism students to fulfill their weekly packages.

Summer 2019

WITF – Harrisburg, PA

TV PRoduction Intern

I assisted with productions on field shoots and in studio, wrote scripts, conducted interviews, helped organize events and videos for local NPR/PBS station.
